Obituary

Wave L. Schultz, age 91, of Oshkosh, passed away at Evergreen Retirement Community on Saturday, June 23, 2012. She was born in Marenisco, MI on January 20, 1921 the daughter of the late Robert and Amily (Starkweather) Schultz. Wave graduated from Argonne High School in 1939. She worked for the defense industry inspecting hand grenade pins before working for Wisconsin Bell for 37 years, working as a chief operator and retiring in 1982 as a supervisor. Her involvement with the Telephone Pioneers of America gave her a way to serve the community. She was also very active in her church. Wave will be remembered for being a perfectionist with her many arts and crafts including: crocheting, knitting and embroidery work.

Wave is survived by her brother, Walter; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Helen, Orley, Lila, Roberta and Marvin.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church, 1174 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, with Rev. Barry Yarbro officiating. A time for visiting and sharing memories will be held at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery, Stevens Point.

A memorial fund in Wave's name is being established for Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church.
